DENSITY AND PLANTATION - Roughly 13 hectares, with an average age sorrounding 30 years

 

Red Varieties -  ocupying about 85% of the area: Touriga nacional (52%), Tinta Roriz (17%), Alfrocheiro Preto (14%), Rufete (11%) e Jaen (6%).

White Varieties -  ocupying about 15% of the area: Encruzado (75%), Malvasia-Fina (25%).

 

Circa 1980 we reconverted old vines with the plantation of new vines, nevertheless there are still 2ha of old vines with 80 years old.
